TBA delivers fleet management system for APMT MV2
Delft, March 2012 - APM Terminals has issued a press release (March 19 – 2012) on the design of their new Maasvlakte II terminal in the Port of Rotterdam opening in November 2014 that promises to set the pace for new terminal design and customer satisfaction levels. APM Terminals has announced the equipment order for a fleet of 36 Lift AGVs from Gottwald, coupled with TEAMS, TBA's fleet management system. TEAMS will control the routing and movements of the new terminal's Lift AGVs, and will handle the interaction with the Automated RMGs and Quay Cranes.

Rotterdam World Gateway, APMT MV2, TU Delft, TBA, Open University, and InThere have commenced a 4 year research project aimed at improving situational awareness at container terminals and other logistic hubs. Through better insight and near-to-live training, e.g. using TBA’s tool CONTROLS, we aim to allow fast-forwarding of events, real-time decision-support, and 3D Virtual Reality Training.

TBA successfully tests TEAMS for Euromax Terminal
Delft, January 2008 - TBA has completed the first phase of testing of its automated fleet management system TEAMS for Euromax, the new ECT terminal currently under construction in Rotterdam. Within two months of the start of the testing period, TEAMS was controlling the movements of the Euromax fleet of twenty-eight Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs). Read more.

TBA starts with two new CONTROLS projects
Delft, January 2007 - TBA has recently started work on two new CONTROLS projects. For one project, CONTROLS is linked to TOP-X (RBS). Within the other project, CONTROLS is linked to SPACE/TRAFFIC (COSMOS). Through these two projects, CONTROLS has now been linked to five Terminal Operating Systems including SPARCS (Navis) and CATOS (TSB).
